Executive Account Manager

Sphere, the parent company of TrustCommerce, is looking to immediately hire an Executive Account Manager (EAM) for full-time employment.

Position Summary

The Executive Account Manager (EAM) will play a lead role in the growth of TrustCommerce by developing wide and deep relationships with our top 15 clients.  Focusing on adding more product and services as well as working with them on securing long term agreements; all while achieving strong year over year growth.  As part of the Leadership team this position will play a key role in the development and implementation of our company strategy and provide input into strategic business growth, and improvement decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivates, develops, and maintains revenue-generating relationships within our existing top 15 revenue producing clients
  • Secure Top 15 clients to long term lucrative extensions
  • Analyzes and assesses clients’ needs to recognize business opportunities and to provide creative, customized solutions
  • Works to build strategic relationships with processing networks, associations, merchant service providers, integration partners, and other industry-related players
  • Works with Product and Marketing teams to identify, design, and implement marketing strategies and ideas
  • Maintains current knowledge of competitor activities and industry changes, and serves as an “expert,” providing information and recommendations to associates and senior management
  • Travels to client/partner sites as necessary perform presentations and/or develop and enhance relationships
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and diverse environment
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skillsgood organizational, planning, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to clearly summarize and consolidate complex information from multiple sources and professionally convey concepts verbally and written
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SalesForce
  • Understanding of transaction processing, PCI DSS knowledge preferred
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision toward the achievement of personal and team goals.  Willing to go the extra mile

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage Top 15 Clients

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 10-15+ years experience in strategic partnership development and execution
  • Ability to plan and execute strategies and initiatives to promote profitability
  • Bachelor’s degree required and MBA preferred
  • Demonstrable project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation

Working Conditions:

  • Full Time
  • Travel Required
  • 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • Office location: Melville, New York or Orange County, California
  • Option for Remote Work Arrangement – United States
