TC Citadel: Securely Removes Cardholder Data from Merchant’s Environment

TC Citadel, a TC SMART Product, is a secure billing application designed for recurring, installment, subscription, deferral, and continuity payments. TC Citadel allows merchants to store customer information in the TrustCommerce database, leaving it up to us to secure the information.

How we do it:

• Encrypt data at the point of entry
• Utilize swappable encryption technology
• Provide an alphanumeric token in place of the cardholder data
• We encrypt, secure, and warehouse the cardholder information

Merchants can create and download reports via an online interface. These include: active and inactive customer records (tokens) showing current recurring billing scheme(s), past and future transactions, status of customers who are behind on payments due to declined billing, and much more.
