General Manager – VP Sales

TrustCommerce’s sister company, Anovia Payments, (Dallas, Texas), an established company, is looking to immediately hire a General Manager for full-time employment. Anovia Payments is an innovative payments solution provider.

Position Summary

The General Manager for Anovia Payments will be responsible for the entire growth and production of this sales office, as well as the growth and relationship of all our lead source partners; especially focused on strategic partner relationships. The General Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, and leading a sales team of 10-15 individuals to hit performance objectives. They are also responsible for working with strategic partners and their downstream agents to train and extract leads that hit performance objectives. Additionally, they will work with all partners to extract leads, and hit performance objectives. Incumbent will also be responsible for related sales operations and program management. The General Manager will report to the Chief Sales Officer of Sphere Payments.

The individual will have a strong understanding of the payments space, have the ability to work well independently, and have demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.  Top candidates must possess and maintain an extensive knowledge base of the electronic payment industry. The primary functions of this role are to extract leads from our partner and hit performance goals for approval and revenue.


  • Effectively recruit, train, and support the telesales team
  • Effectively identify and train partners on how to generate a good quality merchant lead
  • Lead the RM team to grow leads from all partners 10%+ YOY
  • Ongoing training with the telesales team on how to generate and develop leads through daily prospecting and proactive lead follow-up
  • Effectively manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close, using a consultative sales approach
  • Achieve corporate targets and objectives
  • Ongoing training with the team on consultative selling.
  • Activities include pricing, customer presentations, account sign-up and activationProvide pre-sales support to inside sales team
  • Manage the CRM, consisting of lead load and distributing process for tele-sales team
  • Assignments may be found in various functional areas
  • Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues or in making recommendations

Previous Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar Sales Management role is preferred

Education, Credentials, Certifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred
